A list of Random stuff that might be fun for you to know about me:
I have seen a lot of TED talks. I read a lot...watch a lot of documentaries and movies that make you think. Non duality is what resonates with me. I love learning stuff. Both my parents were teachers. I enjoy spending time with people who are smarter than I am. I am very much in the non-dual genre. No religion or dogma here. I do much better with free thinkers than religious types.
I have made documentaries in the non dual genre. Think Eastern Philosophy in a western wrapper. Alan Watts and Ram Dass would have loved them.
I have gotten a lot out of ceremonial plant medicine over the years. I do it on occasion and it's definitely not fun and games. It's a lot of work but the benefits are so worth it. Real mind opening stuff.
My views on Politics: Our government is out of control...government is the problem. I am neither an R or D. I see both parties as totally insane. For various reasons I can't get behind what either party is about. I am a big fan of the non aggression principle (NAP) and natural law.
I lived in an intentional community in CA for 2 years. They offered a lot of different courses to the public. Their courses were about the Man/Woman relationship dynamic and sensuality. So much good information. Everyone should be so lucky to be exposed to this kind of material. Through these courses (think Tantra meets western practicality) I feel I am well adjusted and educated in the relationship and sensuality arena. Two years at an intentional community where the focus was on relationship/sensuality was time well spent. It was definitely an interesting time I learned a lot. Grateful for the not so typical education in this area. Very glad I did it...if we connect on that level I am sure you will be glad I did this work too! ;-)
I have been to a handful of Mensa Annual Gatherings...it's fun to be around super smart people and listen to the talks (most are quite good) but so many people there lack social skills and are not very healthy so as great as it is to stimulate my brain it's kind of a painful experience at the same time. Just in case you are wondering I do have more than my fair share of social skills. I am a fun loving extrovert and yet I do enjoy down time on a somewhat regular basis too.
I am an accomplished car camper.
Comfortable tri-fold foam pads $300.
Mattress topper that makes it feel like a real mattress $50.
Super comfortable bed and great nights sleep priceless!
Authors I have gotten a ton from over the years : Alan Watts / Jed McKenna / Chuck Hillig / Tim Freke / Ramana Maharshi / Osho / David Dieda / Larken Rose / Tim Ferris / Deepak Chopra
Really enjoyed: "Radical Honesty" and "Dead Doctors don't lie."
I have done a lot of home improvement projects. Love making my house nicer. I have done a lot of things from a full basement / ripped out a couple walls / installed a whole new kitchen / replaced a large deck.

The Matrix
The Truman Show
I Love the Huckabees
Paul
Wedding Crashers
The Notebook
Good Will Hunting
We're the Millers
Avatar
Some of the Black Mirror episodes are fantastic (some are too dark for me)
