About me:
.The Basics:
- 5ft 9in 155 lbs Fit and Healthy
- Never smoked / super light drinker / very light 420...(Hey I am from Colorado and do partake on rare occasion with sufficient peer pressure)
- Grew up in S. CA (Woodland Hills)
- Went to College in N. CA (Degree is in Engineering from Humboldt State University)
- Was married once (for 8y) right out of college divorced in 2001 (no kids)
- Worked for devil himself in 2000 at Microsoft. I did not know what he was up to back then! (left a year later)
- Started a computer consulting / service company worked for myself (had employees)
- Sold the computer company 8 years later (Tech burn out and I was totally inspired to do something else)
- Started a video production company
Made 4 documentaries (all in the non dualistic genre)
got out after discovering biz partner was unethical (that was expensive)
This was a very difficult experience lost pretty much everything AND now I see the beauty in it. - Serial Entrepreneur - always have a lot going on but it's all good because apparently I enjoy it that way.
- Moved to from CO to FL Sept 2019. I was done with the cold and snow in CO.
- Love the water FL is such a good match for me: Lakes everywhere / boating / Seaplanes / Good Weather!
The Less Boring stuff:
I don't have a job. I left the corporate world when I got laid off in 2000. I have been self employed ever since.
Time freedom / fun / crypto are the new currencies. I have escaped the trading time for money game.
Tim Ferriss' book The 4 hour Work Week makes a ton of sense to me. I don't have it down to 4 hours yet...
I have traveled a lot. At last check I have been to 37 countries. I have spent a year and a half living in Thailand. Thailand is great... love the food and the weather. After living in Colorado for much of my life the weather and the beaches were such a nice change. The dissimilar culture and the language is what brought me back. As a white boy I would never really fit it and I found Thai hard to learn and their way if thinking is so different.
I am so NOT your average beer drinking, sports watching, hunting and fishing kind of guy. I don't do any of those things. Typical guy things like wrestling/NASCAR/Boxing/UFC I have less than zero interest in (there are so many more fun things to do in life). I will never talk with you about sports...the closest thing will probably be the Superbowl I am usually up for watching that and that only happens once a year.

Inner work:
Books / Seminars / Medicinal Plants / the 100+ interviews I did for the documentaries I have found all to be very supportive and have all really contributed to my growth over the years. I am a very different guy than I was 20 or so years ago when I actually realized the inner journey was a thing...I know sounds funny now but when you don't get it....well you don't get it! My poor exwife didn't have a chance. I didn't have any tools back then. Looking for pieces to the puzzle and peeling off another layer is now what it all seems to be about. As long as we are here there is undoing to be done. I love Ram Dass...he said "You have to become somebody before you can become nobody."
My Cosmic view of the Universe:
I am at a place now where I know I am the source of it all. Have had incredible direct experiences of this.
I view life as as a game...and the game is to see if you can undo what has been programmed and live an empowered life in spite of all that has happened. It's really a tall order as we all have all had some traumatic stuff happen to us (which is part of the game too). I still complain now and then when things don't go as I would like...but I spend less and less time there and I have the tools to snap out of it (usually).
I like to philosophize...connect the dots to see the bigger picture. I really enjoy the work of Alan Watts, Ram Dass, Jed McKenna, Ramana Maharshi, and Nisargadatta. I have gotten so much from all of them.
Here is an article I wrote that you might find interesting: Mario and the Programmer.

Major Life Influences:
A college professor who was insanely smart/brilliant. Frank Jolly. I worked my schedule around his classes for his last 2 years of teaching. I was the last guy to take all his courses. A couple summers back I made a point to go to his house (yes he still lived in the same place!) and I told him how much he influenced me and that he really taught me how to think. It was a wonderful acknowledgement conversation for both of us. I have talked glowingly about him to so many others over the years and it was nice to be in his living room and get to tell him. I got to do the same thing with my Dad the week before he died. So glad I did. My Dad was really a great guy. Both my parents were wonderful. I miss them.
About My Personality:
I am totally an ESTJ. I took a online evaluation/test and was amazed at how well it described me and personality. Both my sister and an ex-girlfriend both agreed it was spot on. I enjoy talking about this kind of stuff. If you want to know more about my personality type (short video ESTJs).
I also like the Human Design model. There seems to be a lot to that. I don't know how to read the chart for that but when people have done it for me is sure seems to fit. I am a "Manifestor" in that model.
I am a Pisces and I used to think "Hey baby what's your sign?" was such a silly question...but then I read about Carl Jung and what he had to say about the zodiac and relationship. He did a lot of research in his quest to find out the best predictor of long term success with couples. He found the zodiac sign's compatibility was the best predictor. Then I went back through my list of past relationships and looked at what the zodiac had to say about our matching. In all cases it was pretty darn accurate. So now I have changed my mind and I do I think there is something to it.

What Am I Passionate About:
For me there are not enough hours in the day to do all the stuff I want to do. Years ago a woman I was dating said to me (in a heated discussion) "Do you know what your problem is? Your problem is you just get too excited about things!" At the time I took it as a major insult...now it's a compliment I love.
What do I get excited about?
Thinking for myself. Truth realization...decoding this game we call life....finding new and creative ways to describe metaphysical concepts to the average person and writing about it. I have made documentaries in the non dual genre. Talking about the tough things that actually make forward progress.
I really love flying. Seaplanes are the best...Land/Air/Water it really is the most versatile vehicle there is in this 3d reality. The Bahamas is a quick flight from FL and it is so much fun. Recently I flew over and camped on various islands...so beautiful and so peaceful.
Plant medicines: This is a big rabbit hole...I could talk about this for hours. I have gotten so much out of my time spent with the plants. When used properly (don't think in the terms of a party...think Terrance McKenna...where set and setting is everything) go in with an understanding of who you are where you are and what this reality is. Write some questions down ask for clairity. It's not something I take lightly. It's like an amped up workshop. It's a lot to do before / during and after. The plants will reveal so much when your heart is right and you want to know. I have a special love and appreciation for the plants.
Perception really is everything. I have written a bit about what I think. (Read here)

Health:
I am really healthy. I am well connected in the alt health industry and I am constantly learning. I don't eat the crap that some called food in this country (except on rare occasions). I have been reading/studying it a lot for the past couple years. I have a friend/mentor/business partner who is a health expert in the UK. I am pretty well versed in what works and what doesn't. If you like the health conversation I am your guy unless your idea of health is listening to a doctor/big pharma/or the government.
My Heroes in Health are:
David Parker (author of whatreallymakesyouill.com)
Harvey Bigelsen
Kelly Brogan
Amanda Vollmer
Tom Cowan
Andrew Kaufman
Joe Mercola

Business/Work:
I love talking about business ideas (I have a million)
I love figuring out how to do something better/more efficient
I love seeing ideas take shape and come to life

Outdoor Fun Stuff:
Flying. There is nothing like the visceral freedom you get flying. Florida is so great for aviation....so much to see here. Love flying the coastline here....and the Bahamas are right here! Water Sports (wakeboarding, jetskiing, boating etc). I am not into fishing. Never got into it and I guess I kind of feel bad for the fish. Torturing fish just to let them go seems like a strange sport.
I love Traveling (hope we get to do that again)... getting out of the USA (or should I say the USSA).
I enjoy seeing how other cultures do things.

Niko:
I had the best dog. It was so sad when he died.
This next paragraph is old...I really like it so I am keeping it here:
My dog Niko has time freedom too. He doesn't have a job either so we spend a lot of time together. He is so well behaved and he goes with me everywhere he can. I even did some service dog things with him so I have the magic vest and can even take him on a plane which I have done. One summer I took a road trip to Canada (drove up to Calgary then over to Vancouver and then down the west coast of the US). I was gone for 2 months and the trip was way more fun with him. Taking a dog to Canada is really easy. I don't know if he knew not too many dogs from the USA get to go to the top of the mountain at Banff and get to ride the gondola! Everyone loved him. He's a metaphysical master. He doesn't get tripped up by concepts like 'the future' or 'the past'. He has totally mastered living in the now as well as non attachment. I have learned a lot from him. RIP my little buddy Niko...you really were great! So glad we had the time we did.
